Tithes, I heard someone say , I am going to pay my tithes. Oh really, Who do you have working for you that you have to pay them? Or better yet who do you owe if you are having to pay them? Have you borrowed some money and having to pay it back? We don't pay tithes to God. Tithes are not yours in the first place. Tithes are already what belongs to God. The tithes that you have been spending on yourself for food, clothing or to pay your bills is what you have been embezzling from God.
God don't need my money so I will just keep it for my self. God knows I have all these bills to pay so I'm sure He don't mind. You have just been deceived by the devil. He has talked you into stealing from God. God says in Malachi 3:8-13 Vs 8 Will a man rob God? You say what are you talking about robbed God? You have robbed Me in tithes and offerings. But God we had to eat. Vs.9 Yes and because you are a thief you are cursed and can't receive the blessings that belong to a honest person and as long as you keep stealing you will never get ahead in life. Now the curse has been taken care of at the cross. But Something will always be coming up to rob you. It is a law that God put in motion back in Genesis. If you rob someone you will be robbed. That is called sowing and reaping. You can't change it what you cause happen to anyone that law will cause it to happen to you good or bad. Don't be deceived the law of sowing and reaping works all the time. Vs 10 God says bring all that belongs to Me into the store house that there may be plenty of good teaching of My Word, and just prove Me here and now says the Lord of Host. Just watch and see what I will do for you for just giving Me what belongs to Me.
If a friend of yours came over and left five hundred dollars on your coffee table for a week would you take his money and go spend it? When he comes back and says I left five hundred dollars here and I have came to pick it up. Are you going to pay him his money or are you going to give it to him? That is the question. Are you paying your friend or are you just giving him what already belongs to him? Words are very important. We should try to get them right. We do not pay tithes. We give God what is already His. If the ministers don't teach about giving tithes and offerings and the problems that it causes when you don't give and the blessings when you do. Then they are robbing the people and they will reap what they have been sowing and they wont like it ether. They will end up with a house full of stingy beggars. When people are taught right and start acting on the Word taught concerning tithes and offerings you will be able to see a change in the way people act and live. It is so vital for the Christian to give God what belongs to Him. I heard someone say I just can't afford to give. Yes I know and it is always going to be that way as long as you believe and say that. The big reason we give to God what belongs to Him, it gets the blessings of God started in our life. God says He will, He will open the windows of heaven and pour you out more than you can contain. The too much blessing. I have got to teach on that. God is interested in us having to much. To much of everything. I like to say it this way. I want to much and it is OK with God because He is the one that causes it. Woooo Ha. Oh how the Word of God gets me excited. Just typing it turns me on. Glory to God by Jesus Christ my elder Brother. Mmmmmm Goood. Ok back to what happens when we start giving to God. First God opens the windows of heaven and gives us more than more than enough. Whoo Ha. Second He rebukes the devourer. That's is the one that causes all the problems in your life. Things that steal your money and time plus other things. For instances things wont break down. They will last and last just seams like they just wont wearer out. It is all because of the blessings of the Lord on the giver. The tithers return is actually more than the hundred fold return. To the one that says I can't afford to tithe. If you are still saying that after reading this. You are truly what the Bible calls a meat head. Ok There is one more thing that the thither must know and it is just as important as giving the tithe and that is the words of your mouth. Vs.13,14 God is talking to people that have tithed and tells them that their words have been stout against Him. You have said it is vain to serve the Lord and what profit is it? It don't do any good to tithe or give or serve God it just gets worse and worse all the time besides the people that aren't even saved have more than me. That kind of talk stops the blessings of the Lord. In Vs. 13 When God says your words have been stout against me. He is saying your words have bound Me, restrain Me, fasten Me, constrain Me, hold fast and hold Me back from blessing you. Some people as soon as they start tithing something may happen that looks like giving to God doesn't work and sure enough their mouth kicks into gear and they start complaining and by doing that they stop the blessings and don't receive anything because of their doubt and unbelief. You can find out about the things that happen to a person that first starts out trusting God and His Word in Mark 4:14-20. We must walk and talk faith when obeying God doing what He says. When things happen that looks like tithing is not workingthat is when your mouth should kick into gear and start talking your faith. Like this. Go ahead and say this outloud.
<> I am a tither and I am blessed. God my Father has opened the windowes of heaven and is pouring me out more than I have room enough to receive. I just have to give it away I have so much. I am always bringing out the old and giving it away to make room for the new and I have only had the old three months. Everything I have is blessed because the devourer is rebuked and God has blessed it. I am always getting new stuff. Men are always giving to me because I am a giver. I am rich in every area of life. God is blessing me right now no matter what I see or feel I know God is blessing me right now. Praise the Lord I am blessed. God has made me the head and not the tale, above and not beneath, a lender and not a borrower, I am blessed coming in and going out every thing I put my hands to prospers. For me to fail, impossible ,for God is with me. <>
That is talking your faith when it looks like nothing is working. We are simply saying what God says about us and it may look like you are lying but you can't lie speaking the truth ( the truth is Gods Word ). The truth Gods Word will change the fact ( the fact is what it looks like in the natural ). But we are not natural beings we are born again spirit beings with the life and nature of God and the Super has got in and on our natural and because the supper has got in and on our natural now we speak Spirit Words and the Spirit Words will change natural things. We as spirit beings must learn to walk by faith and not by site.
