VISION

VISION

New Beginnings Fellowship Church was founded by Pastors Jim and Tina Grounds to reach the lost and hurting in the City of Duncan with the Love of Jesus.

We are what is considered an inter-City ministry, reaching the lost in the streets of Duncan is our mission field.

Our ministry is about changing lives forever. Standing by and lifting up those who may fall and  speaking and teaching life in Christ.

We believe through discipleship (teaching how to live the Word of God), getting people off the streets and into a home and caring environment with HOPE, these people lives will change; their live do change, there are many examples in our church of deliverance from bondage.

We work to teach people to lead productive lives by the Word of God.  We believe that given a chance to be shown love and help, with a place to live outside from the old friends and bad influences lives will change.  This has been working in Duncan for the past 4 years through strong discipleship of New Beginnings Pastors and Staff.  There are those whose lives have changed and are productive citizens in this city by being shown the Love of Jesus. Many have been lost in the past because they go back to their old friends for help (because the traditional church turned them away) they end up right back where they started on drugs and increasing the crime rate.  We know that by providing a SECOND CHANCE and teaching life skills, (how to -job interview, fill out applications, how to budget and live in your means, how to study and plan for the future, lives will change.  Our vision is to help the hurting and lost by showing the love of Jesus, by finding them a place to live, finding them a job and providing them transportation to and from work.   We work at getting those in bondage help through rehab centers and discipleship.

It’s our vision to see these men and women become productive citizens which we believe will lower the crime rate in our city.

We must show the love of Jesus and help our neighbor.  Jesus said the greatest commandment was to love the Lord with all our body, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself.
