Dear Jim & Tina Grounds

I greet you in the wonderful name of our Lord.  I want to thank you for coming alongside the ministry of HOPE FOR ALL, INC and myself as a prayer partner.  I am sure you will agree with me that in God’s work we need his power more than ever.  Without God’s power, which is brought about through prayer, little to nothing is going to happen. 

In my previous letter asking for your prayer support I said that from time to time I would contact you with specific prayer needs.  Currently I have a trip to Thailand scheduled for November 13 through November 25.  My plan is to minister a few days in Bangkok, then a two or three day trip to Chiang Mai (located in the northwest area of Thailand), and then do some ministry along the border between Thailand and Burma (Myanmar) among the Karen people group. 

As indicated above, I will be ministering and teaching during the trip, but I also will be making contact with some National pastors that I have worked with in the past and begin establishing them as my “contact pastors” for this area.  I need God’s wisdom concerning which of the National pastors I should use as “contact pastors,” because in the future they will be doing most of the ministry to the Nationals; national working with national. 

While the task is great, we serve a God who is greater.  I firmly believe that God has called me to this ministry and that he will provide if I continue in his will and direction.

I would ask you to specifically pray that:

1.  God’s power will be manifested in the lives of the lost and they come to know Christ.       

2.  Hearts and lives will be receptive to receiving the gospel. 

3.  I would have wisdom in which National pastors to establish as “contact pastors.”

4.  That the necessary funds are received to cover the expense of the trip.

I believe fervent effectual prayer moves the hand of God.  I pray that God open doors for ministry in Southeast Asia and particularly in the country of Thailand.  

Thank you for your prayer support.  Know in your heart that because of your dedication and your prayers, at the rapture of the church, you will have been responsible for some of the people making heaven their eternal home.

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.  (Philippians 4:19 NLT)  I believe that God, through Christ, will meet all the needs as they are presented to him. 

I pray God’s richest blessings upon you.
